Accessibility Statement
What has been built, what has been checked, and what has not been checked yet — stated plainly.
Commitment
CIDAH Ltd. is committed to making this site usable by people with disabilities, so that every visitor can use it independently and on equal terms.
Standard
The site is built against Israeli Standard 5568, which adopts the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013.
What is in place
- A skip-to-content link and a single main landmark on every page.
- Keyboard operation throughout, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Correct document language and a coherent heading order.
- Animation that respects the operating-system reduce-motion preference.
- Layout that reflows without loss of content down to a 375-pixel viewport.
What has been tested
Every published route — 41 of them — is checked automatically against WCAG 2.1 A and AA using axe-core, on the production build, after fonts and entrance animations have settled. The same run confirms that the first press of Tab reaches the skip link on every page. The current result is zero violations, and the check runs as a release gate: a regression blocks the build rather than being noticed later.
What has not yet been verified
Automated testing catches roughly a third of accessibility barriers. A manual audit with assistive technology — screen-reader passage, keyboard-only traversal and 200 per cent zoom on every page — has not been completed. Until it has, this statement does not claim full conformance with Israeli Standard 5568, and it will be updated when that audit is done, including whatever it finds.
